Hours: Full time. The employer is happy to discussed flexible working times during office hours.
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000. Negotiable depending on experience
On behalf of our client, an established and growing accountancy firm, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join their team.
The Accounts professional will be responsible for processing year end accounts for a variety of clients as well as VAT returns. This role presents an opportunity for ambitious accounting professional to join a local business and play an important role in working with a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts preparation for a mix of Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Manage and work closely with a portfolio of clients
- Prepare VAT returns and HMRC duties
- Bookkeeping duties
- Prepare tax returns and corporations tax computations
- Guide, support, and mentor junior accounting team members.
- Ad-Hoc duties as and when required
You will need:
- Qualified with recent relevant Accounting Practice experience alternatively the employer will consider part qualified or qualified by experience.
- Be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Had experience or be capable of managing a mixed portfolio of clients.
