Talent Acquisition Specialist (1 Year Fixed Term)

A leading provider of Off-site Prefabricated solutions for the commercial M&E sectors across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe is seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their dynamic HR team. This opportunity is based at the company’s headquarters in a prime location in County Down, Northern Ireland.

Working alongside the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Talent Acquisition Administrator, you will play a key role in generating talent pipelines to support the company’s growth strategy. This is a fixed-term contract for one year.

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (1 Year Fixed Term)
Location: County Down, Northern Ireland
Hours: 38 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand recruitment needs and market trends in the construction and M&E sectors.
  • Source, engage, and screen candidates using a variety of channels.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including assessments, interviews, and offers.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Oversee international recruitment and ensure the maintenance of recruitment databases.
  • Support internal relationships and manage outreach initiatives with schools and universities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and track recruitment KPIs.
  • Eligible to work in the UK & Northern Ireland

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and online systems.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).

Desirable Criteria:

  • Business-related degree or HR qualification.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms.

  • Ability to build and manage talent pipelines aligned with growth plans.
  • Effective collaboration in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
