Apple Recruitment Services are delighted to be seeking a Senior Insurance Sales Executive to join our Client, a growing UK wide online insurance provider.

Based in their Greater Belfast Office the Senior Insurance Sales Executive will lead less experienced colleagues by demonstrating how to maximise policy sales, optional extra sales, cross-selling and providing excellent customer service to the growing customer base. The Senior Insurance Sales executive will also be responsible for their own administration of insurance policies and supervise admin tasks completed by junior colleagues, dealing with customer complaints, generating KPI reports and training and supervising more junior members of staff, ensuring that they meet their KPI targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Insurance Broker in a senior role and the Insurance Sales Executive will need to demonstrate:


At least 3 years personal lines insurance experience including at least 2 year of Motor

Experience of at least 2 other products from Home, Van, Travel and Landlord

3 A-Levels at grade C or above

5 GCSE’s at grade C or above (including Maths & English)

Cert CII qualification (desirable, not essential)

Experience in a broker environment placing business from a panel of different insurers

Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets

1 year senior / team lead experience

1 year Open GI software experience (desirable, not essential)

Experience using a dialler

Excellent client facing/communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team and supervise more junior colleagues

Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to multi-task

Ability to use initiative

Ability to take direction

Good interpersonal skills with leadership potential

Articulate, ambitious, enthusiastic, responsible and thorough

Able to work quickly and accurately

Self-motivated and able to use your initiative where possible

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week with an unpaid lunch of 30 minutes. 9am-5pm Monday to Friday however as the business grows further, a degree of flexibility may be needed.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and the Insurance Sales Executive can expect £22,000 - £30,000 + bonus as well as 3% Pension and company benefits, 22 days holiday plus 10 statutory days and free car parking.
