Senior HR Advisor (Attendance Management)

Our client urgently requires an experienced HR professional to assist them with Attendance Management in the Southern Division of the Ambulance Service.

 

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership in the area of attendance management working collaboratively, and developing positive working relationships, with a range of stakeholders to promote the intensive, proactive and consistent management of absence, to deliver improvements in attendance levels, within the area division.

 

Duration: Initially 3 months with possible extensions

Hours of Work: Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £16.52

 

Essential Criteria

  • A University Degree or a relevant professional qualification and a minimum of 2 years experience in a junior management position with a focus on managing attendance OR A relevant diploma or equivalent professional qualification and a minimum of 3 years experience in a junior management position with a focus on managing attendance OR 5 years experience in a junior management position with a focus on managing attendance
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in a managerial position within a HR environment
  • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current employment law and attendance management best practice
  • A working knowledge of computerised and manual HR systems
  • Ability to use the MS Office Suite
  • Experience in the development of management reports including the production and analysis of statistical information
  • An excellent communicator
  • Hold a current full drivers licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. In the case of someone with a disability, access to a means of transport to enable them to undertake the requirements of the post.
