Sales Project Manager

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 depending on exp

Our client, a leading utility provider who have recently celebrated 20 years in business, are seeking to recruit a permanent Sales Project Manager for their Belfast department.


The role of the sales project manager, reporting to the general sales manager, is to add value to the business by effectively managing the company’s sales activities to include Public Sector activity, trade customer sign up activity, multi occupancy and wider support across sales departments as required.


This is a permanent full time role based on a 37 hour week. The successful applicant will be required to work between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and between 8.30am and 4.30pm on Fridays.

The rate of pay for this role is between £27,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on level of experience.


Key Accountabilities:

· Develop and effectively manage a connections programme for the unconnected housing stock


· Establish and sustain excellent relationships with key personnel


· Manage relationships with Housing Associations who have housing stock within Greater Belfast to ensure the utility company maximise connections


· Identify additional domestic sales opportunities through engagement of management agencies to provide utilities to larger multi occupancy developments.


· Responsibility for maximising the potential of the wider industry to support customer sign up activity via training and appropriate support initiatives.


· To support the General Sales Manager across the sales department to include wider industry engagement, special projects and event management.


Essential Criteria:

· Applicants must a full UK driving licence- This must be stated on your CV or application*

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a project management environment.

· Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills

· Positive attitude

· Self-motivated

· Proficient IT skills to include the use of Microsoft programmes such as word, excel & outlook



· Experience working within the NI Natural Gas Industry.
