Sales Manager

On behalf of our client, we have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Sales Manager to join their growing Lisburn based organisation.


Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales processes and managing the sales team throughout Northern Ireland and within the UK.


As the Business Development Manager and Account Manager, the post holder will work collaboratively with other members of the Senior Management Team to ensure customer satisfaction and consistent growth in sales revenue and profitability. The successful candidate will work closely with marketing colleagues, create and execute innovative sales campaigns, secure business through warm lead generation in line with business goals. This will cover approx. 60 per cent of the role.


The post holder will also manage and motivate a sales team, tracking individual and team performance. The Sales Manager will assume overall responsibility for growing the business in a service provider organisation.

Hours of work Monday- Friday 9am – 5pm however the post holder may be required to work outside these hours as business needs demand.



·Third level qualification in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B Sales in the last 5 years or where the applicant does not possess the relevant qualification; a minimum of 4 years’ experience in B2B Sales within the last 8 years will be accepted.


·Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the last 6 years of managing a sales team and proven track record of managing direct sales achievement within a telemarketing environment.


·Proven track record in generating income streams through product/service promotion and delivery, as well as completing and securing tenders and obtaining key contracts.


·Proven track record key account management including key account acquisition


·Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets to tight deadlines.


·Experience using different methods of communication to close sales effectively (e.g. telephone, face-to-face presentations, written communication etc).


·Computer literate to include extensive use of internet, email, word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and databases.


·Full clean driving licence, access to a car for business purposes, ability to travel throughout NI, UK and further if needed.


The Sales Manager can expect a salary of £30k plus performance related bonus (£40K OTE) and benefit package.
