Sales Executive

On behalf of our client, we have a new opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join their Sales team.

 

 

Reporting to the Sales Manager (Residential Sector), the Sales Advisor will be responsible for acquiring new domestic customers and completing all relevant paperwork accurately. Working within a defined geographic area, the Sales Executive will work to achieve agreed targets and adhere to timescales and current processes.

 

 

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30- 3.45. Some flexibility may be needed due to business needs.


The Sales Executive can expect an excellent remuneration (£24-27k depending on experience plus commission structure) and benefits packages, together with comprehensive training and development programmes.


Benefits will include either a company car or a car allowance.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have good organisational, time and territory management skills

  • Have a positive attitude

  • Demonstrate excellentcommunication skills, and be comfortable interacting with internaland external stakeholders at alllevels

  • Possess drive and initiative, and be comfortable working to and achieving agreed sales targets and budgets

  • Have a flexible approach to working and be willing to become proficient in all areas of sales operations

  • Previous relevant sales experience with a successful track record in a direct sales role

  • Proven experience in B2C sales

  • High level of computer literacy, including MS Office, and previous working knowledge of a CRM system

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload efficiently

  • Ability to present in group situations

     

    Responsibilities:

     

  • Acquisition of Owner Occupier customers and management of subsequent connection process

  • Project manage conversion schemes

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the installer network

  • Create and follow up on sales opportunities within agreed timescales and update details on the CRM system

  • Responsible for completing all necessary administration required to produce project and customer handover packs

  • Economic evaluation of projects using in house computer based appraisal system (IUS)

  • Identification of target areas for potential network development and marketing activities

  • Represent the company at formal and informal meetingswith internal and external stakeholders such as residents’ groups, installers, trade shows and events
