Part time Administrator

On behalf of our client, a manufacturing company, we are seeking an Administrator for a part time, permanent position to join the quality control department within their manufacturing site in Greater Belfast- Lisburn. 

The Quality Administrator will work 19 hours per week and due to business needs must cover a Wednesday and Thursday.

Key responsibilities will include:

·        Generating product certification (Certificate of Conformity, EASA Form 1) in accordance with applicable regulations or standards

·        Managing identification, storage, protection, and retrieval of quality-controlled documents

·        Compiling, generating and reporting on key performance indicators/measurements

·        Assisting with maintaining the Quality Management System

·        Assisting with internal quality system and product audits to applicable regulatory/statutory requirements to ensure compliance

You will need to demonstrate the following attributes:

·        A good ‘Team-Player’ who demonstrates flexibility within the role/wider department

·        Possesses a ‘can-do’ attitude

·        Understands the importance of getting it right first time

·        Strong attention to detail.

·        Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)

·        Analytical / Logical Thinker

·        Self-motivated, can work on own initiative and manage time

·        Excellent attention to detail

·        Efficient data inputting skills

·        Ability to work in a pressured environment particularly to meet month/year end deadlines

·        Understanding the importance of customer satisfaction, both internal and external

·        The ability and will to support Quality Engineers to resolve customer issues

You will need:

·        5 GCSE’s or equivalent (including English)

·        Minimum of three years’ experience in an office/administrative environment

·        Demonstrates strong attention to detail and an aptitude for numeracy.

·        Demonstrable experience in the use of Microsoft packages, including Word & Excel, for report writing and updating metrics

·        Experience in office management and filing to include filing for ease of document retrieval

Desirable Criteria:

·        Internal audit experience

·        Experience in updating and releasing quality-controlled documents

·        Experience in producing formal release certificates (Certificate of Conformity, EASA Form 1)

·        Experience of using an ERP system

The Quality Administrator can expect an hourly rate of £10.42 per hour.
