Office Manager

Apple Recruitment Services are looking for an Office Manager on behalf of their client based in Holywood.

The Office Manager will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling client meetings and appointments within the office
  • Greeting visitors and arranging teas/ coffees/ lunches
  • Maintaining the office condition and arranging necessary repairs
  • Greeting visitors and arranging teas/ coffees/ lunches
  • Providing general administrative support to staff
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers
  • Record keeping eg Annual Leave/Sick Leave
  • Address staff queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements)
  • Liaise with office management suppliers, including cleaning, catering.

Finance Duties

  • Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation of all financial systems
  • Inputting purchases invoice into SAGE Line 50 with speed and accuracy
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements
  • Dealing with supplier related queries
  • Follow up unpaid invoices
  • Support the Finance Manager with monthly sales invoice preparation



  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, and front office Reception
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. printers)
  • Familiarity with email scheduling tools
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work in a busy office environment that often demands high levels of concentration
  • Able to respond effectively to changing priorities


  • Based in Holywood
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience
  • Full time hours, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
  • Temporary for Maternity cover initially
  • Starting date experience to be around 9th April
