Marketing Administrator

On behalf of our client, a manufacturing company which exports products, we are seeking to recruit a Marketing Administration Assistant Mallusk site. This would initially be to cover approx. 6 months however this may be extended or become permanent.

 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Administration Assistant will Marketing team in the provision of administrative support to the department.

 

•           Order paper, printer cartridges and office stationery.

•           Organise daily incoming and outgoing post.

•           Scan, store and circulate monthly press cuttings.

•           Prepare monthly keyword reports.

•           File and store trade press magazines.

•           Organise couriers as required.

•           Typing up meeting minutes.

•           Coordination of the marketing stock control process.

•           Organise the distribution of marketing support materials to customers and other sites.

•           Coordinate sample requests and sample labels.

•           Coordinate print and production of business cards for all business areas.

•           Control and maintain stocks of letterhead, compliment slips and document folders for all business areas.

•           Update job tracking system.

•           Organise, file and store completed job bags.

•           Maintain and upload images to the iMedia image library.

•           Fulfil image requests.

•           Assist marketing team in the production of support documents, specific sample packs, literature packs and mail shots.

•           Upload and remove promotional signature banners on Outlook for all business areas.

•           Coordinate production of bin labels and merchant overprint leaflets.

•           Prepare tailored company and product presentations.

•           Preparation of customer visits: tailor presentations, produce agendas, organise samples, transport, site tours, assist with catering and other requirements as specified.

•           To coordinate the production and distribution of corporate marketing support items including calendars, diaries and promotional items.

•           To provide cover for reception on a rota basis during holidays and other agreed times.

 

CRITERIA:

 

  • 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above, must include English Language and Maths is essential and A level or BTEC in Marketing or Business would be desirable.
  • 1 years experience in office administration to include filing, invoice processing, post, stationery, stock control, updating databases, preparing presentations and print production.
  • IT skills to include MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Numerate and literate
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude and approach
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Reliable & conscientious
  • Flexible approach
  • Experience in a marketing or sales environment is desirable

 

Hours of work are 40 hours per week:   8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Mon – Thurs and 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Friday (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break per day).  Due to location, own transport is advisable. The successful candidate can expect an hourly pay rate around £7.83 depending on experience
