IT Project Office Analyst

 IT Project Office Analyst- Level 6 sought for our client based in Belfast city centre. 
This is a temporary ongoing role, Mon-Fri 9-5, 37 hours a week. £13.90 an hour.

Role summary   The IT Department is responsible for the overall delivery of the ICT Programmes and associated services, in conjunction with our supply partners, to agreed standards and performance levels.  A key current focus of the role will be to contribute to the IT department Project Office function, providing support for project governance and management processes for major IT work programmes and projects.  
Main duties       
Collate and maintain Project RAID logs and plans
Establish and maintain reporting system for project governance and provide secretariat support for project meetings
Support to project leads as required in development and maintenance of project plans and status reports
Tracking project documentation and provision of project status updates/reports 
Project Stakeholder engagement and support to project leads as required for project communications plan
Other project management and delivery/support duties as directed by IT Futures Project Manager
Candidates must:
have a relevant degree or a professional qualification of equivalent academic level and a minimum of 3 years’ experience obtained within last 7 years 
have knowledge and experience of Prince2/other best practice project management methodologies and toolsets
have knowledge and experience of working on IT Projects within project management environment
have experience in project governance and risk management either in a lead role or work package delivery capacity.
be competent in use of MS Office (Word and Excel) and other toolsets such as Visio and MS Project
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
