Internal Account Executive

Salary: £21k + Uncapped Comm

On behalf of our client, a leading business service provider, we have an exciting new opportunity for an individual with experience in business to business telesales or account management experience. This person will join a growing office base team as their Inside Account Executive.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Account Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing customers on a proactive basis.

  • Proactive telephone prospecting & account management to retain customers, upsell and cross sell Products to the client base.

  • Management of and sales to the allocated Accounts & new prospects to meet personal and department sales & retention targets.

  • Proactive liaison with Marketing in the direct outbound prospecting to follow up marketing campaigns.

  • Working effectively as part of the Sales team, attending meetings, raising issues and promote best practices.

  • Accurate completion & submission of customer order paperwork.

  • To attend company required training for personal development and actively participate in the Company Appraisal System.

  • To keep fully up to date with product knowledge and the comparable services provided by our competitors.

  • Adhering to the policies and procedures within the Company Integrated Management especially ISO9001:2015 and ISO27001:2013.

  • Carry out such other duties as required by your Line Manager, and are within your knowledge and capabilities.

Criteria:

  • Educated to at least GCSE level with C Grade in English and Maths or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years telephone sales and account management experience.

  • A minimum of 1 year working within the B2B marketplace.

  • Marketing campaigns

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages to include word, excel.

  • Working knowledge of and experience in utilising CRM software

 

My client offers a competitive salary starting at £21,000 and a generous benefits package including:

  • Uncapped Annual OTE – with expectation of minimum £4k

  • 37.5 hrs per week

  • 09.00 – 17.00 hrs with 30 min lunchbreak

  • Private Health Insurance

  • 33 days holiday

  • £21,000 per annum
