HR & Payroll Officer

On behalf of our client, a Top Northern Ireland Company, we are seeking to recruit an HR & Payroll Officer to join the HR Manager in providing HR and Payroll functions to the organisation in Greater Belfast.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resources professional to join an organisation which employs over 200 local people across a wide range of jobs including Customer Service and Engineering.

 

The role will cover a wide range of Human Resources in the management of employment lifecycle including supporting line managers with employee relations issues, assisting the HR Manager with salary and bonus reviews, security clearances and all aspects of recruitment and induction.

 

As an experienced HR Officer you will:

•           Third level qualification or relevant experience

•           CIPD part or fully qualified or be willing to work towards

•           2+ years experience in a similar position

•           Solid HR administration experience across full HR lifecycle

•           Experience of recruitment administration to include recording of applicants on HR database

•           Experience of advising managers and participating in all aspects of recruitment including advertising, short listing, interviewing and selection

•           Experience of handling employee relations matters such as disciplinary & grievances and absence management

•           Experience of working in a confidential environment

•           Experience of managing deadlines and conflicting priorities

•           Working knowledge of employment legislation

 

The role will also be about 30% payroll and whilst experience is not essential, experience of payroll administration is desirable.

The role offers a salary of £21K plus an annual bonus of 6-9%. The company also offers a good benefits package, skill and professional development.
