Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am- 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 3.45pm (37.5 hours). This is a fantastic place to work with a great environment, a fantastic range of benefits and free parking.

 

Working from their modern, Antrim Town based office, the Customer Service Officer will join a small team that provide a first class customer care experience. You will assist with pre-connection and engineering administration within the Customer Services team. The post holder will play a key role in providing administrative resource for engineering tasks and in processing connection applications from enquiry through to meters fitted and burning.

 

Duties

·Assist the Customer Services Lead with pre-connection administration, ensuring the highest standards of customer service during the connection process

·As directed, assist with any Engineering administrative tasks ensuring accuracy, data integrity and timely completion

·Deliver improvements through process review, actively identify process or data anomalies

·Gain thorough knowledge of pre-connection process, market procedures and ensure compliance within the Customer Services Department

·Demonstrate 1st class customer service and deliver brand values, answer incoming calls, advising or redirecting as appropriate.

You will need:

·Minimum 5 passes at GCSE level Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English & Maths

·Proficient in the use of MS Excel and Word

·Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in dealing with internal and external relationships Flexibility required with an ability to excel in a pressurised working environment

·Proven ability to organise tasks, work with schedules and manage workload whilst remaining focused on team goals

·Ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation

Due to location it is advisable, applicants have access to their own mode of transport although this is not essential.

 

The Customer Services Officer can expect a starting salary of £19,500 and benefits packages, together with comprehensive training and development programmes and the opportunity to excel in challenging and progressive roles.

·Health Insurance- PHI available after 26 weeks of absence, 75% of basic salary for up to 60 months (subject to acceptance by insurers)

·Sickness Absence- After 12 months service, 26 weeks at full pay, 26 weeks at half pay (subject to medical certification)

·Maternity Leave- 26 weeks full pay, Statutory Maternity Pay thereafter

·Paternity Leave- 5 days full pay and up to 2 weeks SPP
