Customer Advisor - Engineering support

On behalf of our client we are sourcing suitable candidates to join their busy customer service team. This long term temporary assignment could, for the right candidate, become a permanent position.
Responding to incoming telephone calls and electronic communications from the public, company staff, contractors and gas safe installers.
Providing guidance, oversight and advice to callers on a wide range of activities that include:
- Gas Availability.
- Connection Appointments
- Emergency Situations
- No Gas Reports and PAYG Meter Faults
- Customer Complaints
- Planned Asset Management (Gang and Service Engineer Calls).
Updating company systems that maintain the asset record and enable jobs and enquiries to be raised and progressed. Able to promote the benefits of natural gas, detail the scope of incentives available to persuade customers to connect to the network and effectively handle queries and complaints.
Dispatching jobs direct to contractors and processing real time updates from engineers etc. within target standards of service.
Contacting potential customers via outbound calling, to offer support and practical assistance to help to persuade property owners to connect.
Administrative back office support activities with key project assignment responsibility.
- 5 GCSE passes at Grade A-C
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience with preference for those from a contact centre background
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
- Willing and able to work felxible hours between Mon-Fri (8am-7pm)
- 37 Hours per week
- £7.90 per hour
