Business Development Associate

On behalf of our client, a global service provider, we have an exciting new opportunity for talented and driven Business Development Associate to join their growing sales team in Belfast, City Centre.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious and driven individual with some commercial experience in a Sales environment.

As a Business Development Associate you work alongside your colleagues, to identify key opportunities for clients across specific markets and industries throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. You will communicate with individuals via email and the phone to build the client relationships from the outset, ensuring you provide the bespoke service they require to the highest standard.

As a Business Development Associate you will need to be comfortable communicating, both verbally and in writing, with senior managers. You also need to be keen to learn, can conduct research, have an eye for detail and will work consistently to meet the contract requirements.

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • 1-year B2B sales.

  • Experience of working within a team to achieve goals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong academic background with GCSE Maths and English (A*- B).

Desirable Criteria:

  • 3rdlevel qualification such as a Degree (e.g. Marketing, Business, English)

  • Market research experience including using online market research platforms.

  • Report writing for business use.

  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • £17,000 p.a. starting salary, increasing to up to £18,000 p.a. upon satisfactory completion of probation period. 

  • Eligible for annual achievable £3,600 bonus based on performance, paid on a quarterly basis.

  • Medical and dental insurance, and pension contribution on completion of 1 years’ service.

  • Education fund on completion of 1 years’ service.

  • Extensive training programme relevant to the role, your future career and personal skills.
