On behalf of our client, a leading firm of Chartered Surveyors, we have a fantastic career opportunity for a person with knowledge and/ or experience of CAD, report writing and a commercial client facing environment.
The person will join the Belfast team as an Assistant Surveyor and will receive excellent training and development in relation to this sector. Ideally this role will suit someone with a background in law or property however the demonstrating following criteria is essential:
Confident client-facing professional
Excellent written skills and the ability to write complex reports
A working knowledge of CAD
Excellent communication skills
The desire to provide the best possible care to clients and colleagues
Able to interact with a variety of professionals with high-level client exposure
Able to manage own time and meet changing deadlines
Good problem solving and analytical mind to analyse schemes, their repercussions and solutions
Able to identify and manage risk in changing and challenging circumstances
Conscientious and responsible individual
Good work ethic where attendance and time-keeping are valued
Willingness to work beyond contracted hours when projects so demand
Work well in a team and good sense of humour
Hardworking and proactive approach
Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, the Assistant Surveyor will attend site visits, photograph sites and work with Surveyors and CAD technicians. The Assistant Surveyor will work with external agencies to gain information, examine legal documents and become familiar with building plans.
