Assets Officer

Type: Permanent
Location: Belfast
Salary: £32000

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to an Asset Officer to join their growing Belfast based Assets team.

The Reporting to the Assets Manager, Assets Officer will be responsible for response, planned and cyclical maintenance, adaptations, servicing or refurbishment of properties.

Criteria:

·A Degree or Graduate diploma in an related discipline such as Estate Management/ Building Surveying/Construction/ Engineering AND 3 years’ practical experience of administering maintenance contacts and the full range of property maintenance tasks

·OR 5 years’ relevant experience and 5 GCSEs (minimum C grade) or equivalent, to include Maths and English.

·A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport*

·Experience of contract management and knowledge of the NEC3 forms of contract.

·Experience of public procurement policies and procedures.

·Experience and business knowledge of the planned maintenance of large buildings and/or housing estates.

·IT literate, good communications and interpersonal skills.

·Flexible approach to working hours.

·Eligible to work in the UK.
