On behalf of our client, a Charity with offices South Belfast, we are seeking to recruit an Administrator to initially cover a 3 month contract with a view to starting immediately.

 

Reporting to the Community Officer, the Administrator will provide efficient and accurate entry of data in relation to donations, campaigns and gift aid using spreadsheets and databases, in line with procedures and policies as well as ensuring that Reception in the Belfast office is covered.  The Administrator will also support the Church and Community Team administratively including dispatching resources, organising meetings, sending mailings and general office duties as required.

 

We are looking for:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English.

  • Administrative experience in a customer/supporter care environment.

  • An ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and outgoing manner with supporters whether face-to-face or by telephone, email and letter.

  • Good MS Office and numeracy skills.

  • Accurate data entry skills and maintaining of records, with attention to detail.

  • Confidentiality and discretion.

  • Systematic approach to work with ability to administer own workload under guidance.

  • Able to work under pressure.

  • A proactive team worker.

    In addition the following is desirable:

  • Experience with Gift Aid and the Data Protection Act (1998).
  • Relevant experience of working with a customer or supporter database system. 
  • Access to a car.

This is a full time role (35hours per week) during normal office hours and paid hourly rate would be around £8.50 per hour.
